Drifting Drams Coffee Company started with a simple problem: we couldn’t find the kind of coffee we fell in love with in Seattle after we moved to West Tennessee. So we did what any reasonable coffee people would do… we started roasting our own.
Today, we’re a small, veteran-owned roastery based in Humboldt, Tennessee. It’s just the two of us (Katie and Ethan) behind the scenes, roasting, tasting, packing, and shipping every order.
What We Roast (and Why)
We roast specialty coffee blends and single-origin coffees for people who care about flavor, freshness, and a good story in the cup. You’ll also notice we have a soft spot for cigar-pairing blends and the whiskey community, including barrel-aged coffees that spend time in real bourbon barrels.
Freshness matters here. We roast to order, because coffee should taste alive—not like it’s been sitting around waiting for a warehouse to notice it.
The Dogs Are the Boss
All of our blends are named after our dogs. Each one has a personality, and we build the coffee to match it—bold, smooth, sweet, or a little wild. If you’ve ever met a dog with “main character energy,” you get the idea.
How We Source
We only buy coffee we’re proud to serve. That means working with socially responsible suppliers who prioritize farmers’ welfare and strong relationships at origin. Depending on the coffee, you’ll see certifications like organic or fair trade.
We don’t sell sub-par coffee. If it’s not good enough for our morning cup, it doesn’t go in a bag.
What to Expect When You Order
Because we roast to order, please allow up to 7 days for roasting and processing before your coffee ships. It’s worth the wait—and we think you’ll taste the difference.
