ROAST-TO-ORDER FRESHNESS
All Drifting Drams coffee is roasted to order to ensure maximum freshness and quality. This means your coffee is roasted specifically for you after you place your order.
PROCESSING TIME
• Standard processing time: 7 business days from order placement • Processing begins once payment is confirmed
• Orders are roasted in the sequence they are received
• Rush processing may be available for additional fee (contact us directly)
ROASTING SCHEDULE
• Coffee is roasted using our Aillio Bullet electric roasters
• Roasting occurs Monday through Friday
• Weekend and holiday orders begin processing the next business day
SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS
• Standard Ground Shipping: 3-7 business days after roasting
• Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days after roasting
• Overnight Shipping: Next business day after roasting
• Free standard shipping on all orders over $35
• Shipping costs calculated at checkout based on weight and destination
SHIPPING AREAS
• Domestic Shipping: All 50 United States
• International Shipping: Available but cost-prohibitive for most destinations • APO/FPO addresses: Standard shipping rates apply
• P.O. Boxes: Accepted for all shipping methods
DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Total delivery time = Processing time (7 days) + Shipping time • Standard orders: 10-14 business days total
• Expedited orders: 9-10 business days total
• Overnight orders: 8 business days total
PACKAGING
• Coffee is packaged in resealable bags with one-way degassing valves • All packages are sealed to maintain freshness
• Fragile items are specially cushioned
• Eco-friendly packaging materials when possible
DELIVERY ISSUES
• Tracking information provided for all shipments
• Contact us immediately for damaged or missing packages • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers • Weather-related delays are beyond our control
UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
• Packages returned due to incorrect addresses will incur reshipment fees • Refused packages are subject to return shipping charges
• Abandoned packages will be donated or disposed of after 30 days
ADDRESS CHANGES
• Address changes must be requested within 2 hours of order placement • Changes after roasting begins may not be possible
• Additional shipping charges may apply for address corrections
SEASONAL CONSIDERATIONS
• Summer shipping: We monitor temperatures and may delay shipments during extreme heat
• Holiday delays: Extended processing during peak seasons
• Weather delays: Shipping may be delayed during severe weather events
WHOLESALE SHIPPING
• Wholesale orders follow the same 7-day roasting schedule
• Freight shipping available for large orders
• Special packaging available for retail display
